Just in: pylibmc 0.4 released

Believe it or not, there's a new version of pylibmc out!

Major changes this time:
  • Renamed handmc (the C module) to _pylibmc, as is Python custom.
  • Implemented reading and writing of libmemcached behaviors. This means you can now use consistent hashing via FNV1A 32 if you'd like that.
sudo easy_install -U pylibmc

Sweet! this will come in handy :-)

Have any benchmarks against python-memcached or perpaps cmemcache been done? (Another interesting matchup would be against the native libmemcached library)
